FARM DESCRIPTION:

Flynn Creek Farm is a certified organic farming operation in its second season of becoming a regenerative farming operation. The produce side of the operation will be the primary focus for the 2024 season as we continue to implement the plans and setup for the our farming operation’s vision. Our produce will be sold primarily through a local large wholesale account that we are developing an intertwined relationship with. We are committed to building efficient systems, providing an educational and gratifying work environment, and producing high-quality nutrient nutrient-dense food.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Flynn Creek Farm is seeking a motivated and energetic leader for its organic produce operation within a vibrant 420-acre regenerative system. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organic farming as well as be a team player, a quick learner, have good attention to detail, and be comfortable making independent decisions. There is room for advancement after a successful first year or two. An ideal candidate will meet the following criteria.

  • 3 + years of organic produce experience

  • Capable of driving a tractor and operating produce cultivation equipment, both mechanical and hand tools, including their regular maintenance

  • Experience with a variety of crops, including their harvest

  • Experience washing & packing

  • Familiarity with pest and disease control in an organic setting

  • Greenhouse experience with germination, watering, and transplanting

  • Familiarity with paper pot transplanting

  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
